We believe that Advent is the antidote to a hurried holiday. As a church family, we want to take a slow walk to the manger.
We pray you’ve had a great first week in our Advent series, and taken some intentional time to slow down and consider the hope found in Jesus this Christmas season.
If you’ve you missed our Sunday worship gatherings for weeks 1 or 2, you can check out the recordings online. Yesterday, we introduced the biblical meaning of joy. Simply put, joy comes in proximity to safety. The closer we get to Jesus, the safer (not necessarily physical) we are and the more joy we will experience. Check out the podcast!
If you haven’t seen our Advent guide, we’ve partnered with Brainerd Baptist Church to produce a great resource to help you engage this season in a significant way. It is designed to enable you to connect with the coming of Jesus. Week 1 focused on hope. Week 2, starting today (Dec 5) will cover the theme of joy.
It’s not too late to join in. The Advent guide is made up of very short daily readings to engage your soul with the Truth of what this season is all about.

And be sure to follow us on social media for daily content.
Enjoy your week focusing on joy and we hope to see you next Sunday.
