We also want to call you to pray. Praying is not merely something we offer when we can’t give money or can’t give our time to help. Prayer is more powerful than anything else we can do! Through Christ’s death and resurrection we have direct access to the God of the universe who is still sovereign, even in tragedy and loss. So please take time to pray for Kyle and Mandi and their family, for Nathan and his family, and for precious Eilee. What an incredible opportunity we have to call upon the Lord for the sake of this family.
(James 5:16) Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
(Philippians 4:5-7) The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Thanks for stepping up and being the beautiful Church Jesus made us to be!
Lamenting with you,
